Where spray painting fits your project
Start with the result you want: a complete room repaint, refreshed joinery or a larger exterior surface. Spraying is an application choice within that job, so the quote should describe the finished work as well as the method.
Rooms and renovation work
For an empty room or renovation, list walls and ceilings separately from doors and trim. Explain which fittings and floor finishes are already installed. For an occupied room, identify what can be moved and which spaces need to stay available. This gives the quoting team a clearer picture of the protection and work sequence.
Doors, trim and cabinetry
Say whether you want existing items refinished or new items painted. Include the number of doors or fronts and whether edges, frames and both sides are part of the finish. Handles, hinges, removal and refitting should be identified in the scope, with suitability confirmed for the material and existing coating.
Exterior and roof surfaces
For outside work, describe the building height, neighbouring property, parked vehicles and access around the surfaces. Include roof repairs or other repainting in the same brief where needed.
